Katerina studied cante, flamenco singing, in Spain with Aroa Soto Cala of El Puerto de Santa Maria, and in the United States with Marija Temo and Rosa Montoya.

As both a dancer and singer of flamenco, she is uniquely qualified to teach the art of singing for dance accompaniment.

Fees:
  • $45 for a single class
  • $140 class card for 4 lessons
  • $225 class card for 8 lessons

Cante lessons are taught at our home studio in South Pasadena.

Lessons are available Mondays 1pm to 8pm,

Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM,

and Thursday 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.

Lessons are one hour long. No semi-private lessons are offered for cante.
NOTE: About Class Cards, Rescheduling, and Refunds:

Class cards are for a given number of lessons within a given period from the date of purchase.

  • 4 class cards are good for 2 months
  • 8 class cards are good for 3 months

PLEASE NOTE: There are no exceptions to this policy. However, rain/sun checks are available in case of seriously inclement or hot weather, or if the instructor needs to re-schedule a class.

We require 24 hours notice to re-schedule classes. Less than 24 hours notice means that student forfeits the fee for that single class.

There are NO REFUNDS, but classes may be re-scheduled at the discretion of the instructor. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
